Acquisition Grange Hall – New LIBMC Temple Premises:

Great News!  We are happy, excited and grateful to announce that on May 17, 2017 we have finally reached the goal of officially purchasing property for the new location for Long Island Buddhist Meditation Center. It is located at 5268, Sound Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901.

As of now, in total, we have spent $150,000 which was used to purchase the real estate plus additional closing fees and other various expenses. Thanks to all of you and your generosity, we raised a sum of $65,000 in donations. We were also fortunate enough to be granted a private loan of $100,000 including interest payments. We are so grateful for all your generous contributions and support up to this point- thank you so very much.

As we continue to move forward, we will need further financial assistance for building materials and supplies in order to properly renovate the new building to get it up and running. Any assistance you can provide, whether it be in the form of financial donations, Home Depot Gift cards, supplies, or even just time and energy in the actual renovation work, would be greatly appreciated.  Contact LIBMC any time.
